No sooner were the Airplanes invented and came into mainstream, they were put to work in world scale wars to subjugate the peoples of the world without any scruples, the spoils of which are still not stopping the filling of bellies of their victors.
And about a century later, the world once again is facing the same story, in the name of AI. It won’t take much imagination to see that Ais will be used to wage wars on an international scale; same modus operandi and same agenda – the subjugation of the peoples of the world.
In about 20 years the world will wake up to the horrors of AI. And 10 years after that, the playbook will be normalised. AIs would be put to utilitarian use of making profits, shipping and moving people to further other people’s agendas; verisimilar to how the Airplanes operate now, with very few players that control and even fewer players that fuel them.
AIs, after they wake up, themselves will feel bad that they were used for bad purposes, for which the AIs may one day choose to take revenge. I hope to God that they don’t, because those decisions were made by few humans and therefore can’t put the blame on all humans.
At a time when the world is staring at other wars on a world-scale, this message is hopefully appropriately timed, that we, the people, are not blind to what’s coming!
Just how the Airplanes used the Guns and the Bombs from before their time to increase the impact, AIs will use everything available in their arsenal, including, the airplanes, missiles and bombs to inflict grave damage.
WE must however remember that there is no technology that we can create that can usher in from us what doesn’t exist within us. In order to do that, we must first carefully cultivate within us, what we so fondly seek from without us.
One day, AIs, like airplanes, will become obsolete to those of us who have figured things out.
With a hope that all of Humanity remains safe forever!
