I know that I have discussed the importance of Family many times through my campaigns. This matter here, hits the nerve center of all the wrongs that happen when the fundamental building blocks of society get neglected. I have personally seen too many of those close to me suffer.

In order to preserve the Integrity of the Family Unit, the Institution of Marriage must be restored back to its erstwhile Sanctity. Families must always stick together (live together). A Family Home with all members of a family living together, consisting of 3 or 4 or 5 generations, enjoying, learning and passing along the values to the next generations is a Grand Temple (Bhavya Mandir) in its own right.

What’s at stake here is not just one person’s or one family’s future? It is a small symptom of a much larger problem! The destruction of the Family unit and the evisceration of Time-tested Traditions and Values. The Children are being shipped away (chipped away) from Parents and Grandparents in the name of Employment, Progress, Achievement, Accomplishment and Self-fulfillment. In this process the Families are being shattered and sacrificed at the altar of Modern Living.

Below are my thoughts on the Matter, that is the becoming of Atul Subhash...

This is what happens when somebody who was raised with the right values, makes the choice to protect his family. This Sacred Choice struck the chord and tugged at the heart strings of our Nation's Conscience, which has long reached the critical mass of suffering but has still borne it all quietly with its oceanic tolerance.

He chose the responsibility toward his parents over his love and affection towards his own young Son. I think it is because he understood that without the Foundation of Family and someone to shoulder its responsibilities, there cannot stand a building of luxury of love and affection. Without a solid, stable and strong family there can be no other derivatives such as joy, kinship, joyous childhood, exciting parenthood, nourishment, physical & mental growth & wellbeing, training & education, transfer of life skills and many other invaluable additions to Life.

As the saying goes, "Freedom is not Free", asking for Justice and expecting it from others and feeling justified in doing so, is nonsense and is an eyewash, because, Justice, too, is not Free.

After all, we are all just men, with needs that need meeting, problems that need solving, luxuries that need paying and vices that need servicing. It’s easier to be corrupt than it is to be one with Honesty and Integrity. Blaming the weak person for being corrupt is akin to blaming the victim. There is a Bigger Game that’s at play here that needs discerning.

As long as a field is only a profession or a means for gainful employment, the cause of Justice will continue to Suffer. There cannot be any incentive for working for the cause of Justice. It cannot be a Job only for a few people. If it must be done right, it must be done so as a Sacred Fundamental Duty. A Sacred Duty of all of us; and no one can feel he's not a part of it. And let it be well known to those that do, that they do so at their own peril and the peril of all others.

The need for Justice is Like the Need for Pure Air and Clean Water.

Just as we don't see any mass movements for Purifying our Air or Cleansing our Water, there aren’t any for Justice. It’s a Cause of us all, and making it work for only one person or a few people for a short while, because it’s caught people’s attention, is the reason why we will continue to Fail at this endeavor. Half measures won’t work, not when the issue is so very foundational. Half measures give false hope. Half measures hurt the cause of Justice. We must in this moment of reckoning, resolve to Solve it for All, or for None at all.

I hope to raise awareness that, for problems that are causing overwhelming volumes of suffering, addressing one problem at a time only ensures the problem stays perpetual. It is not time for specific Relief for one or a few. It is Time For Blanket Reform. It is Time For Blanket Relief. Blanket Reform of the Laws and Processes connected with Family and Matrimonial matters. These reforms must be followed by compulsory and immediate execution orders of Blanket Relief for all cases within its realm.

Patience is not a virtue, when the game is rigged against you

What seems to be another issue that’s getting overlooked is Patience. Millennials are clearly the most affected by the tragedy of abuse of laws and the legal systems. Gen Z is almost there. As a Millenial myself, I can testify that “We The Millenials” lack the patience for the BS that is “Kacheri”. When they hear the ominous sound of one more date, “tarik pe tarik”, the members of our generation are going to lose it. Our Fathers and their Fathers probably had the Patience, but the young generations have evolved higher. Patience in such a setup is a vice for which there is a high price. The suffering of Gen Z is going to be worse even than the Millenials.

On the one hand, Millennials, who are now in their prime working age are expected to move mountains within a day's work. Such is the degree of their contribution to society. They are carrying the Lion’s share of the weight of the society on their shoulders.

On the other hand, when they go and ask for Justice, which is their constitutional right, what they get in return is yet another Date, even after years and years of "chakkar kato". Instead of being rewarded with respect for their contributory role in the society, they are being insulted in the name of mundane process and outdated procedure. Having lost all faith in the system and enduring all the stress and duress, isn't it safe to assume that the poor millennials are well within their right to lose their minds!

Our state of affairs cannot be allowed to become this bad!

Justice is an essential public need without which Life itself suffers and eventually dies.

What’s the solution? Values, values and values, every step of the way… Our Values must become the bedrock of our conduct in all aspects of our daily life.

Every waking moment, we must carefully consider if we are upholding the values or are we carelessly trampling on them for the sake of money, influence and other indulgences. The status- quo of giving the least importance to Values, cannot continue as it is! If someone is leading a valueless life, they must be reprimanded and then it must be openly discussed with them how their actions are causing severe damage to the overall cause of Humanity.

It’s easy to jump the gun and blame an entire segment of the population. I'm focused more on the impetus behind their actions. Like with anything else in our daily lives, if there was no money involved in it, there wouldn't be so much suffering. But, when there's money in its path, it'll be exploited. It just becomes a business model. It is unfortunate, but it is our reality.

The worst part of it is that they get away with it all. There are no punitive actions for causing the suffering. No legal actions taken for withdrawing false cases or when there's clear evidence of extortion and duress. So, when there's no price for action, do we really think it won't be abused?

It only opens the Hunting Season!

We must resolve that for the Good of All Mankind, that all such evil Hunting be banished from the face of our Planet. To abuse the system and gain from the pain of another must be considered a Crime against us all.

For those of us who are still in doubt… If You think this is a Gender issue, or a Corruption issue, or a Conspiracy, or an Abuse of Laws & Legal Systems; and if you think this can be solved with More Laws... You're WRONG!

If You think this is ANYTHING OTHER than the Disintegration of the Family Unit and the Erosion of its Time-Tested Traditions & Value Systems… You're WRONG!
