It is Stealing my Life from me by taking control of my Time.

New Year's Resolution made on January 1st 2025, by the Joint committee of the United Stations Of Paree, my Mind, Body and Soul. On this day, 1st of January 2025, I solemnly resolve that my Phone is my Enemy number 1.

It is hereby declared, without an inkling of doubt, that my Smartphone is my Enemy and am therefore required to take necessary actions.

As an immediate measure the United Stations have employed the services of the Feature phone for the continuation of Essential communication and operations.

“Text, Calls & Email - Nothing Else”

- Only Official Modes of my Communication

This Resolution also declares the only official modes of all external communication with me as being Text, Call and Email checked periodically on a Laptop or Workstation. All other forms of communication are rendered moot.

Any Feature Phone with UPI Payments is Fine.

Charge Sheet

The Following Charges are framed against my Smartphone:

1. For Breach of my Trust,

2. Violation of my Fundamental Right to Privacy,

3. Involvement in acts of subversion,

4. Engaging in Clandestine efforts to steal my personal information,

5. Collusion with other players to undermine my personal life, Integrity, sanity and endangering my person,

6. and active participation in activities of Surveillance and Espionage against my interests.

This resolution also acknowledges the existence of the Axis of Evil formed between the Smart Phones, Social Media platforms and OTT platforms and their efforts of waging Information warfare, covert operations, spreading malicious political propaganda all with the goal of compromising the Individual’s personal life, integrity and sanity.

If the Social Media Platforms and OTT platforms do not take corrective actions on their part to stop this ungodly collusion, they will soon find themselves in the same place as the Smartphone.

My Phone started this war that I didn’t want. I hereby make the New Year’s Resolution to end it. In this War of Will power and Wits, I will Win.

Henceforth, I’ll start each day with the following statement.

My Phone Is My Enemy! In this War of Will power and Wits, I will Win.

Note to Self:

If all of this is too much, at least set a time limit for these apps not exceeding 15 minutes per day.
